Collision entre un bus scolaire et un mototracteur de vendanges près d’Épernay : 40 personnes impliquées

An impressive accident occurred at the entrance of Vertus, a village near Épernay (amendement), in the late afternoon of Friday, September 20, 2024. A school bus collided with a high tractor used for grape harvesting. The toll is fifteen people slightly injured out of the 40 involved.

The incident took place around 5:30 pm, just as the school bus was leaving the village of Vertus. According to witnesses, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the enjambeur, a large tractor used for the annual grape harvest in the region. The impact was so strong that the front of the bus was completely destroyed.

Fortunately, the emergency services arrived quickly on the scene and were able to provide immediate assistance to the passengers. Out of the 40 people on board the bus, 15 were slightly injured and were taken to the hospital for further examination. The remaining passengers were unharmed and were able to return home safely.
